Highlands University is one of the 3 institutions for higher learning in Las Vegas, NM with approx. 3600 students from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds ranging local Las Vegas Residents to International students from Cameroon. Highlands has a strong NCAA Division 2 Athletics Program in the RMAC (Rocky Mountain Athletics Conference). NMHU offers undergraduate and graduate programs in the arts and sciences, business, education, and social work.
NHMU’s student health center is open 3 days per week, and sees approx 2100 patient visits per year. Services include primary care, sports medicine, small pharmacy and lab, and behavioral health counseling.
