Truchas is located on the scenic high road to Taos, halfway between Santa Fe and Taos. Straddling a high ridge, the town began as a Spanish land grant in 1754 and has remained relatively unchanged outpost over the centuries. Truchas boasts ofspectacular views of Truchas Peak (13,100 ft., the town is at 8400 ft.) and the Española Valley, and is a very attractive place for New Mexico artists with its lively arts scene. One of our employees swears Truchas is as close to heaven as you can get on earth.
Truchas Medical Clinic sees approx 2000 patient visits per year and offers Primary Medical Care, All standard medical procedures, Annual Physicals, Well Child, Immunizations, Pre-Natal, Diabetes.
